The project was led by Bread Category Manager Riley Allen, with support from the Marketing team and cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization.

Featuring signature grill marks, a rich buttery flavor, and a soft brioche texture, the bun offers operators a distinctive option unlike anything currently available from competitors. Designed with menu innovation in mind, it is especially well suited for Limited Time Offers and premium sandwich applications that help drive customer engagement and sales.

To celebrate the launch, Unibake USA hosted a tailgate-themed launch party at the office, bringing employees together to experience the product firsthand. Team members enjoyed a BBQ lunch where they built their own sandwiches using the new bun, highlighting its versatility and premium quality. The event also included sports-themed attire and a spirited Pictionary tournament, creating a fun and energetic atmosphere centered around teamwork and celebration.
