Riley Promoted to Bread Category Manager at Unibake USA

We are excited to announce that Riley Allen has been promoted to Category Manager – Bread at Unibake USA.

Over the past five and a half years, Riley has been an integral member of our Research & Development team, contributing across a wide range of functions that support product quality, innovation, and customer success. Throughout her time in R&D, she has played a key role in developing product specification sheets, managing nutritionals, understanding regulatory requirements, and collaborating closely with the sales team.

Riley’s strong technical knowledge, combined with her passion for baking and deep understanding of the bread category, make her exceptionally well-suited for this new role. As Category Manager – Bread, she will be responsible for helping drive category growth strategies, supporting the sales team with meaningful market and category insights, and leading cross-functional collaboration on new product development initiatives.

Her promotion reflects both her dedication to continuous learning and the valuable contributions she has made to the organization over the years.

Riley holds a degree in Culinary Science from University of Nebraska–Lincoln as well as an associate degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Iowa Western Community College. Her educational background and hands-on industry experience continue to support her innovative and strategic approach within the bakery category.

Outside of work, Riley enjoys baking at home, going to the gym, and spending time with her rescue dog, Kaia. She is excited to take on this new opportunity and continue growing her career with Unibake USA.
